John gardner drew this dory-skiff shortly after she arrived at mystic seaport in 1989. built by c.h. lancaster of amesbury, massachusetts in 1924, she was used. I came across these plans on the internet the other day. i haven't had a chance to figure out much they differ from the plans for the amesbury dory skiff that john. This dory-skiff may well have been built at the lowell dory shop in amesbury, massachusetts as one of the boats produced when the shop turned to the recreational.
